Great podcast for learning how to develop practice plans and how to approach youth sports. Overall, the podcast is a constant reminder that coaching is more than teaching the game, but also includes interjecting life lessons as the kids grow up. After a challenging season, Craig’s podcast serves as a reminder of why I continue to donate my time to youth coaching.
Energizing and Informative Show !

Craig hosts a very energizing, inspiring and insightful show for coaches and parents who are eager to impact youth athletes in a positive way! It was a great episode with John Moyer. The golden nuggets were: " Keep it real-be you, and it is the coach's demeaner of having a convicting presence as well as a calm one that is hard to find, not the coach who is all about strategy." Thanks for keeping it real Craig!

Justin Kavanaugh is on this episode and has a lot of fantastic insight on how to approach youth athletes. Coach Kav touches on building trust and connections in which a kid is able to open up to their parents or coach and how vital that is in the relationship. He also provides great practical drills and insights on how to not run kids into the ground, yet still develop a sense of competitiveness and toughness at a young age. Great show and episode!
